Portugal dos Pequenitos
Situated in Coimbra, Portugal dos Pequenitos - Portugal of the Little Ones - was inaugurated in 1940, under the vision of Bissaya Barreto, who created this playful-pedagogical park.
Living portrait of Portugal and the Portuguese presence in the world, Portugal dos Pequenitos is still today a historical and pedagogical reference of many generations.
In the monumental area you will find several Portuguese monuments, with special emphasis on the details of the Convent of Christ of Tomar that is represented here. The typical Portuguese miniature houses are part of the memory of many of the children who visited this park, being one of the most attractive spaces in the park.
In addition to being a space for culture and people to come together, Portugal dos Pequenitos is also a qualified display of sculptural and architectural art that, by miniature and detail, still enchants children, young people and adults.
