Declared National Tourist Interest Festival, the festivities in Honor of the Virgin of the Ermitane, patron of the city, are considered one of the biggest and best known celebrations of the city.

The festivities take place every year during the first days of September.

"Les Danses" is one of the highlights of the festival, where the devotion of the people to their patroness is quite visible.

During the last days of the festival, the famous parades of Moors and Christians that fill the streets of Peñíscola with colour take place.
