With in the city you can use the Metro do Porto, the buses (know the times in stcp.pt) or even the tram to know the emblematic areas of the city. To use these urban transport must purchase a rechargeable card, the "Andante"walking" that allows you to travel through the city.

By plane

In the city of Porto you will find Sá Carneiro Airport, the second airport to receive more daily flights in Portugal, so there are numerous flight options for the city and from the city.  Here you can rent a car to discover the city and the region, or take the metro | underground or a bus through GetBus to go to the city centre.  Or other possibilities are available such as the STCP buses that provide the connection between the airport and the city centre.

By Train

In the season of Campanhã, you can make the route Porto-Braga or Porto-Guimarães.  This trip has a duration of 1h, and has several schedules options throughout the day (practically from hour to hour). The same happens with the route Porto-Coimbra.

 

While the Campanhã Station makes the international connections to Lisbon, the São Bento Station makes the regional connections to Galicia. In both stations you can find links with the Douro and Minho region.

By Bus

The Rede Expressos has several daily buses that allow you to make the trips to Braga, Porto, Coimbra and Fatima.  For those who want to know the city of Évora, you can take the 8:30 Express in Porto, and arrive in Évora in the afternoon.

 

To reach cities on the central coast, such as Nazaré, Alcobaça and Batalha, you can consult the Rede Expressos website or use the local road services of RodoTejo. 

By Car
