The nearest airport to Batalha, Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon is about 120km away from the city by car.  You can rent a car at the airport, or take a bus to the Sete Rios bus station and then take a bus trip through the Express Network with direct connection to the city of Batalha.

You also have the option of using Aerobus Line 2 - with frequent departures from the airport, which ensures the connection between the main points of the city, the bus terminal of Sete Rios and Lisbon Airport (Terminal 1 and 2).

For those traveling from Lisbon, you must take the Rede-Expressos bus at the Terminal Rodoviário de Sete-Rios.  The Express trip from Lisbon to Battle lasts about 2 hours.

If you are in Oporto, you should go to the Campo 24 de Agosto bus station, from where the Rede-Expressas buses that connect to most Portuguese cities leave.

 

For the Porto-Batalha connection you will always have to tranship between buses - in Coimbra or in Leiria - and there are few options of schedules.
