This is a restaurant of gastronomic reference having as specialty the piglet, roasted in a wood oven respecting all the traditional procedures.
It was the first Portuguese piglet restaurant to enter the Michelin Guide. The restaurant offers a privileged view to the Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória, in Batalha.
It was distinguished in the category 'Michelin Dish', being one of the 12 restaurants in the region of Leiria registered in the 2018 edition.
With a complete and varied wine cellar, the restaurant bets on quality, buying only national products. And an example of that is the piglet, which is chosen and bought alive by the owner, Bruno Figueiredo, from producers of the region, being then slaughtered in a certified slaughterhouse.
