Mondego Adventure

The Mondego River is the fifth largest Portuguese river and the largest of its course entirely in Portugal.

It is born in the Serra da Estrela, crossing the entire region of the Center (Beiras Region), and its mouth in the Atlantic Ocean, near the city of Figueira da Foz. It is the river that bathes the city of Coimbra, being the most sung in poetry and Portuguese songbook.

Throughout its course the Mondego River intertwines calm waters and some fast which make it a privileged stage for the practice of extreme sports.

Kayaking down the Mondego River is an experience that is as fascinating as it is unforgettable.
