Church of Santiago
The Church of Santiago also called La Antigua, is a building of the 12th century, it is considered the oldest religious construction conserved in Béjar.
It is a small Romanesque building that in the interior houses the Museum of Sacred Art where there are several important pieces, as a Christ built in limestone in the 16th century, the picture of the Virgin of the Antigua (15th century), the main altarpiece of the 18th century, graves, sculptures, liturgical garments, and religious pieces from various parishes, as well as graves of various noble families in the city.
