Tourist tram

Electric car circuits comply with all Covid-19 safety and prevention standards. The use of a mask is mandatory, with disinfectant gel available on board.

Security stocking is ensured, as well as the disinfection of contact surfaces several times a day. Tickets are only sold on board with ATM payment (no preferential contact). Come travel by tram with confidence!

The network of historic electric cars of STCP, SA – Porto Tram City Tour – is an unavoidable ex-libris of the city of Porto. With a history dating back to 1872, the year in which the first line of "American cars" in the city of Porto was inaugurated, STCP's electric car network is currently made up of 3 different lines that run through the most emblematic and touristic areas of the city. .

The Porto Tram City Tour circuit operates daily on a variable schedule, according to the tourist seasons.

  • Line 1, or Marginal Line, which runs between the historic center of Porto and Jardim do Passeio Alegre in a unique path along the banks of the Douro river;

  • Line 18, or Linha da Restauração, which runs between Massarelos and Carmo in a route that connects the historic area of the parish of Massarelos to Jardim da Cordoaria and its surroundings;

  • Line 22, or Linha da Baixa, which runs through the most emblematic arteries of the city center of Porto on a circular route between Carmo and Batalha/Guindais.
