Chellah Necropole
Chellah is an archaeological site where the ruins of the Roman city of Sala Colónia and a medieval Merinidian necropolis are found.
It is located in the suburbs of Rabat, in Morocco, near the south bank of the Bu Regregue river.
It is considered the oldest known human settlement in the area of Rabat and Salé.
It is found protected by an important wall, which is passed through a monumental gate.

a zauia with an oratory
a zellige-clad minaret (colorful tiles)
and various funeral rooms.
